Ebay item number 320381807408 The seller gets a laugh for trying to shift an absolute dog of a Fiat Punto - minus wheel, steering wheel, V5, working clutch and major engine components - for a £500 starting price, but I don't think I've ever seen a worse spelled eBay ad ... and that's saying something. I did chuckle to see that the very first question cut straight to the issue at hand. -- AndrewR, D.Bot (Celeritas) Aprilia RSV-1000R, Honda VFR750F-L BOTAFOT#2,ITJWTFO#6,UKRMRM#1/13a,MCT#1,DFV#2,SKoGA#0 (and KotL) BotToS#5,SBS#25,IbW#34, DS#5, COSOC# Suspended, KotTFSTR# The speccy Geordie twat.
I think "Privet number palte worth over 1500" deserves some sort of award. And "have 14 days to have the car removed or thay will take it and crush it" just encourages people to stand back and say: "Bring it on!" The space where there should be a battery also amuses. I'd expect puffs of smoke to emanate from every corner of the loom, the moment one's connected. "Hello, we have a new Pope...."
Eloquent response from the seller there as well. I'd guess he's bought it and been stitched up with all the "little tlc" jobs that needs doing and is now Nigeing it out.
That's my take on it, although I'd have thought the absence of a turbo and battery, would have been obvious. The alloys are nice, mind.
To hedge my bets I'd still leaf it well alone. I'm also not convinced that the clutch will be that easy to sort - even if it is a hydrolis one. -- AndrewR, D.Bot (Celeritas) Aprilia RSV-1000R, Honda VFR750F-L BOTAFOT#2,ITJWTFO#6,UKRMRM#1/13a,MCT#1,DFV#2,SKoGA#0 (and KotL) BotToS#5,SBS#25,IbW#34, DS#5, COSOC# Suspended, KotTFSTR# The speccy Geordie twat.
Actually, I've now seen his other auctions. I'm not surprised his landlord is threatening to have it crushed. He's got a whole carpark full of shite.
He was quite forthright with his answer to the second question, wasn't he? I'm not sure eBay approve of language like that.
