I hope some of you can help me. My wife of 25 years has decided to
try motorcycle cruising. I am currently riding a Honda ST1100 but I
need a bigger bike. Not to sound strange, but my wife is a bigger
lady, around 320 and with my 220 lb frame and luggage I was wondering
if anyone could recommend a motorcycle that could handle the strain.
I also usually carry a weapon or two so I need lockable storage.

Thanks for the help. I enjoy reading some of the posts on here. You
are a lively bunch of friends I would say.

First of all, have either or both of you thought about trying Nutrisystem?

Makes you wonder....if he needs a couple weapons, she must be big AND
    mean!!!

I don't believe I've rode with anyone who had such a mean wife, this
one might be a keeper. Don't anyone go to making fun of him and
    causing him to run off.....

That would almost have to be a Goldwing, year 2001 and up; or a HarleyD,
    Roadking and up.

How about a sidecar rig? One more wheel can't hurt.

-------Hey OKCowboy, the newest newbie to the group. Welcome. Have you
ever heard of a BossHoss? It has a V8, its about 4000CC. <g>
----Seriously, I have a friend whos wife would dress out at about 285,
and he's about as hefty as Pender.
He steers a Goldwing, and she rides behind him as navigator.
He, too, carrys several guns, and all the luggage they can pack on that
    GW.
As far as I know, the1800HondaGoldwing, will run ass down the
interstate, with no problem....But stay with the Honda Bikes, and dont
get another 'V-Twin' anything. My dimes worth......MrJayTGrin.
