Supers

Is there gong to be an aus.moto contingent at Superbikes? (silly
question...) Since I had such a fabulous time at the motoGP, I'm going to do
PI again and see what amazing and unexpected things the weather will do in
mid-summer!

Would some kind regular please advise stuff like accommodation options? I'm
looking at arriving on the Friday evening, leaving Monday morning...

I've never drank Coopers Pale from the Coopers brewery but I've drank
Cascade Pale from the Cascade brewery and I was mightily impressed!
I've drank both Coopers and Cascade Pale from the Knobdoodle brewery and the
Cascade is head-and-shoulders better than the goat's-piss Coopers.
Too fucking-good in fact and my hung-over-and-fucking-useless-while-at-work
coefficient has risen alarmingly!!

 

If we're doing one-upmanship I've drunk Coors _at_ the Coors Brewery. And it
was free after the free tour but they would only give me two drinks.

My neighbour brews a reasonably tasting Tooheys.

I'm boasting, but it's the only brewery I've ever been in. Maybe it tastes
better fresh, and in Colorado.

I'm just amazed to discover that apparently there's a way to make
American beers taste good in the first place!

 

To be honest, I never liked Aussie beer. Mind you, I pretty much had a
choice of Swan and Emu Bitter at the time. I only got a taste for beer in
the US, in my late 20's. They made it easy, it was on the shelf in the
supermarkets. Except on Sunday. On Sunday you could ony get 3% beer.

I have a Cabin booked at Cowes Caravan park on the Fri-Sat-Sun nights,
I am looking for another 5 bodies, 1 double and 2 double bunks.

The double is on offer for a couple and 3 bunks for $90per head for
the 3 nights

Oh bugger - as of yesterday I had to pike. No bloody money left for Supers
after some big bills... I'm really cross about it :-( Was keen to see what
PI was like in the summer...

Still aspiring to be at the motoGP again though! <save save save>
