Did you not see the reply regarding homologated restrictions and how
    easy they are to remove?

After taking the long way back from Winnersh Fucking Triangle today, darsy
has a point that it's a tad underpowered on swoopy A-roads, but on anything
twisty there's plenty of poke. You do need to use the gearbox, though.

The 404 starts to run out of steam at 80mph, and probably hits the limiter at
about 90-and-a-bit. Basically, caning the tits off the thing seems to be the
    way forward.

The recent-ish race can seems to have perked things up a bit, too. And

maybe - the review I read stated that LC4s had a 2 year warranty,
whilst the SMCs only had 6 months.

Still, a highly-tuned big single...what's to go wrong...

If you want the weight down eat less curries. Cheaper than magnesium.

As darsy's north London, he'd use Bracken, who darsy, just so happen to
carry 99% of whatever you could ever need

I'm going to be popping down to see them the week after easter.

I wonder if they'll take my 'blade as part exchange?

Best thing I ever heard in a mountain bike shop...

"You can spend 50 quid on titanium bolts for your bike, or you can
take a shit before the race. Your choice."
