Where we going?? What time we leaving?? Where we meeting?? Redshad
We had a good ride yesterday..rode probably about 250 miles or so. We ate in Ft Worth at a hole in the wall mexican joint. I was hungry right away so Louie took us down on Hemphill and we got to see alot of mexicans. Bill Walker needs to ride down Hemphill towards Cow Town. You wont need to make anymore Mexico runs...we found DEEP Mexico right here in Ft Worth. I dont remember where all we went but we went through alot of different towns. I can tell you folks one thing...when you ride with Louie you can bet your going to see these 5 things. Poor folks, shabby houses, lakes, trains and gravel roads. Big Ed behaved himself yesterday quite well. He didnt try to run over us on the way home. We actually all rode pretty slow for us. We were on one stretch of road that seemed to go forever and we rode it at about 60 mph. Ed and I both were kinda shocked about that....a road like that would normally be ridden at 90+. Ed said something about Louie feeling guilty because he didnt attend church so he was riding slow and praying or something like that. We got rained on a couple times but it helped cool things off. Had a good time...looking foward to the next ride. Redshad
lol.. There's a lot to be said for that.. The Cinco de Mayo celebrations in that part of town, are really something.. I'm sure glad to hear that Big Ed didn't take a runaway on his way back home.. Reads kinda like you boys made yourselves a nice little day run.. hmmm.. There may be something to the theory of "guilty conscience" on Louie's part.. One of the better clues to that, might be.. the way he flinches when a big clap of thunder and lightning flashes.. <chuckle> Of course, you have to consider that we've all been guilty of not paying the preacher, on Sundays.. A lovely little lady reminded me of that, some time back.. We'd been on a weekend run and were somewhere north of Gainesville.. Stopped for lunch at a community, family type restaurant.. The little lady had obviously just come from church, along with several of her biddy type friends.. She reminded me that I'd have better been in church instead of runnin' around on a motorcycle.. Being quick on my feet, as everyone knows.. I responded by telling her that "me and Jesus have an understanding about this motorcycle business".. That little lady laughed real hard and couldn't wait to tell her friends what I'd just said to her.. hmmm.. Wound up taking a couple of them for short rides around the parking lot.. Bill Walker
LOL - pretty funny.... Sounds like there's probably a David Alan Coe song in there somewhere!. Gary Walker Big Ed behaved himself
