OK, taken out jacket lining & leave partly unzipped.
What about my legs (knees)? My trousers are permanently
quilted & the sweat is running down my legs. (ugh!).

So, I've been out today just in jeans on legs, but would like
    some protection added [1].

Any recommendations for summer trews please, or jeans I can slide
    protectors into etc.

[1] Ginger haired kid in Astra, wearing baseball cap (says it all really),
nearly took me out on A1 last week, no idea I was there as he came
down J4 sliproad, & was all too eager to overtake GTi in his crummy cage.
GTi was quite polite & reconized the PRATT in the Astra for what he was.

    Rant over.

Ventilated leathers? Cordura with removable liner is what I use as it
is surprisingly cool. Having said that, I just bought a German Army
two-piece which is heavy cotton, for Summer use. The armour in that
is so large I'll have to cut down the hip inserts so I can sit on the
    bike ;-)

If you want jeans, look at Gialli and Draggin' Jeans for a start.

    Why?

I had a a lovely run this afternoon in tshirt, khakis and trainers.

Just enough of a breeze at a ton to cool the skin.
