    The bandit 1200 not me.............

I am getting a mild stutter below 3k revs for 30 miles or so after
refuelling. I think I've had it for a while but it didn't strike me until
today that it's after I fill up.

My mpg seems to have dropped from the usual 41-42 mpg to about 37-38.

The air filter and plugs are recent and I've had no other problems.

    Any ideas?

  2. Crap supermarket petrol? Water in the fuel?

  3. Or a bunged up petrol tank vent? Full tank = tiny space for air, so
partial vacuum shows up very quickly compared with when the tank is
    half empty.

The vent may be OK, but you may want to check the two pipes that run
beneath the tank. It is common with Bandits that these pipes get
themselves into a postion where they can be squeezed by the bottom of
a full tank and cause the symptoms you describe. If there looks to be
any possibility of this, simply move them aside and tape them in place
    so they can't be squeezed.
