The rest of the power was being diverted to audio output, you see.

  2. From what I've seen it's inhabited by people who think leaning a bike
into a corner is not only dangerous but showing off.

It's been said before, about 100 mile straight roads etc.
OTOH sprotbikes are popular in more interesting terrain

Can you tell me which bits to look at? I've got as far as three
minutes into this one and the maximum lean angle I can see is about
15deg from the vertical. I'm assuming that there is some proper
    leaning later on.
Nope. Dipping into those seems only to confrim Fraser's stereotype,
    I'm afraid.

    OIC. Yes, point well made.

It's not you on the videos then?

It is me. I'm not a kneedragger. As someone else (WUN?) mentioned,
Palomar is rife with riders who treat it as a race course without the
requisite competency. I risk my life enough and I don't need to prove
anything to myself or anyone else. I'm 63 and coupled with dupuytrens
and a tremor, my muscle coordination and reflexes have never been very
good. Those roads are heavily patrolled, I already go considerably
faster than the legal limit, and prefer not to draw attention to
myself. On top of all that, I ride an ST1300, which isn't very
    conducive to kneedragging.

That won't wash. If I can ride bikes with stitches & pins in my fingers
you can forget trying that one on. Champ even rode his bike when they'd
put his hand back together with the fingers in the wrong places..

You not seen the vid of the wing being kneedowned ?

Was that what that was on the roundabout? So much traffic it was hard
to tell. But that was just a joke, right? The Pan leans far more than
a Wing. FWIW, my pegs scraped a bunch of times in those vids, but it
    sure doesn't look it.

Adds to list, not replaces list.

iirc Champ's middle two fingers are in the wrong place, and my outer
    two are the same.

    Nope, it really happened.
I usually get as far as a boot scrape and leave it at that :)

I can vouch for the fact that it happened and the fact that I refused to
reverse the rider/pillion positions so Matt could get his knee down
    while pillion.

I still find it hard to believe that SD didn't realise there was
something odd when he was asked for the keys to his bike.
