  4. Keep leaving off personal pronouns. Been learning spanish and they don't
    bother with them. Don't much see the point in them now. Shouldn't need
    them if context is clear.

    The problem with leaving off pps is the impression it gives: low self
    esteem etc.

    I interviewed someone last year who wrote their entire letter of
    application without a single 'I'. 'Funny' I thought. They seem not to
    want to mention themselves, or take ownership of thier life.

    Sure enough, when they turned up it was as if they had no self esteem at
    all. So, be warned.

    That's the opion of someone around here anyway.
