Stuff - Sunday 21st / Monday 22nd

There's a bike jumble on at Popham airfield (near Micheldever
Station) on sunday 21st August - that's this sunday. It's
also the DSC "Mega Meet" so a couple o' hundred Ducatis
will be in attendance as well, if you like that kind of
thing. I'll be there, on the red Ducati...

Then on monday 22nd, I'll be at Brands for the evening as
its the "Dave Harris / Riders for Health" track evening in
memory of my good friend Dave who unfortunately died after
a trackday accident earlier this year.

The evening is £45 (some places still left) and run through
Focused Events. All money goes to Riders for Health which
was one of Dave's favourite, and the idea is to get people
to sponsor the riders to make more money.

You are better off using StreetMap. At least the location pointer
stays there when zooming out.

 

Oooh, I rather fancy that. I'll be back from China by then. I've been
looking for a decent set of aftermarket cans for my 750 for ages (900
ones won't fit). I've got yer mobile number... I'll call you if I make
it. If it's pissing down or I'm still jet-lagged[1], forget it, mind.

[1] Or if I still have the flu. Yes, folks, guess who's picked up the
flu in Asia? Feeling better today, but still decidedly weak.[2]
[2] Better than those who got the tom-tits, though. You really don't
want to know the gory details about some Chinese khazis, although there
are a surprising number of decent ones around....
