i have a 1984 honda magna. recently the choke lever (on my handlebar)
won't move when i go to start my bike. i followed the cable into the
engine and moved the lever (in the engine) the cable's connected
too...and it worked properly. the lever (on my handlebar) will not
budge though. when i move the lever (in the engine) by handle the
lever moved fine but the cable does not retract into the casing. does
anyone have any idea why the lever is stuck or what i can do to repair
    it? thanks

Replace the cable. Keep the new one lubed.

  3. Only if the new cable isn't nylon lined, which I think most are, these days.
