Bad luck and all that but it obviously wasn't important enough to you to
    carry any decent security products.

    Bugger. Commis, mate.
Oh well, look on the bright side, some poor bike thief's lumbered
themselves with a right abortion of a barge.

    *WHAT?*

So you're covered for theft, but only from your house? That doesn't make
    any sense.

  10. You sure?

When I had a garage I had a "if it's nicked from your place
but not the garage then tough" clause, but when elsewhere
it didn't have to be garaged...

(William Grainger) somehow managed to post:
I think this is the case with all Auntie Carole's policies. ICBWT.

  12. You mean that if you go into town and leave your bike in a car park and
it get's nicked, it ain't covered? or from work?

Or indeed almost any policy that gives a reduced rate for saying it's
garaged overnight. Leave it on the drive and it ain't covered.

I'll bet he hasn't read it properly and it's some thing like "if it's
stolen within 1/2 mile of the address where it should be garaged then
    it's not covered".

If my intuition and experience is anything to go by it has already
seen the angle grinder and been chopped, because some up his own ass
"biker" thinks he is too fucking good to pay for the donor bike for
his lowrider.... still, every dog has his day.

what is starting to irritate me is aunty carole herself, despite
having used them almost since "them" was a "her" and despite never
ever ever having anything except fully comp all bells and whistles
agreed value policies, the phone bod is now claiming that mysteriously
enough they are showing no record of having recieved the form and
photos for an agreed value policy, mumble mumble "market value"
    mumble.

He-llooooo, harleys + market value policies were the only reason I
first used her and the only reason they went from a "her" to a "them"
(despite them managing not to pay out 1p for my
    still-missing-to-this-day-ten-and-some-years-on FXE) in the first
fucking place, market value insurance was available anywhere at
    competitive rates.

if they think offering me £500 is going to work they're in for a
    surprise.

got the ad / reward on ebay uk now too btw

    cheers

  20. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember Guy Fawkes
Rogue Trike Builders, mate; you want to get on the BBC about them.
