Having not read this group for about 18 months, it's a sad return for
me, but in case any one's seen a black VFR750, reg plate M 942 CGH on
the roads... Stolen yesterday at 5:30 from just outside Pinner, Middx.

Chassis number is RC36 2501846 if anyone gets offered it.

Bunch of cunts, the lot of 'em. Why anyone would want a beaten up VFR
like mine is beyond me. :(

guyh emerged from their own little world to say

Because IMHO that version of the VFR was the best they ever made. They went
    downhill with the Fi 800s.

    Still cunts though.

My last VFR750 was stolen and it too was a high-mileage shed.

I suspect they only wanted it for the recently replaced s/s exhaust system.

Did yours have a newish exhaust?

Mebbe so, but mine wasn't exactly the finest example.

The only decent bit was the Baglux cover. :/

    No question about it.

Nope. Still had the original, which I'd subjected to two salty winters,
5 days a week. If it could be removed without serious damage, I'd be
    surprised.

Welcome back, sorry to hear about the VFR.

Are you the same GuyH who came on a BOTAFOT run a while back? (summer 2003)

That's me. Have you spotted a belated KotL opportunity?

You don't appear to have a number.

    You're right, I don't.

I'm not, in all honesty, losing any sleep over the matter. Nonetheless,
in the interests of completeness, you might see fit to award me with
    one? :)
