stolen motorcycle register

    FREE to use stolen motorcycle register.
    www.stolenmotorcycles.org.uk

    set up by someone fed up of the INCREASING theft of motorcycles
    and dealers who dont care.
    When fully operational dealers, buyers, police
    will be able to use it to check bikes.
    Any comments/suggestions more than welcome. Dont bother with stupid ones
    please !!!

    I think you'll find the police already a system they will prefer to use.

    Secondly, if they don't care _already_ - what difference is this going to
    make?

    And having now looked :

    1) Finish the site BEFORE you tell people about it.
    2) Go on a design/HTML/anything course before putting up something so dire -
    it will never, ever, be taken seriously looking and functioning like that.

    I wonder whether they have recorded this system with the office of the
    date registrar under the requirements of the data protection act?

    But dealers *do* care about theft. Every time one gets stolen they get a
    new sale.
    Can you do one for laptops as well ?
    Looks like an ad for a tow bar company.
