Here's my original post and two of the specific questions I asked.
Let's try these several more times and see if anyone in this group can
provide SPECIFIC ANSWERS TO THESE SPECIFIC QUESTIONS without
wandering off into the wilderness and yakking about master links and
any other subject to avoid simply providing the SPECIFIC ANSWERS TO
    THESE SPECIFIC QUESTIONS.

On the TW200 I thinking of buying, I understand it comes with a stock
14 front sprocket and a stock 50 or 52 rear. And since I've clearly
stated many times that its use will primarily be ON-ROAD, I intend to
switch out the tires to the TW203 and TW204 plus perhaps some sprocket
    changes.

1--What will be the performance results of changing the front to a 15
    or even a 12?

2--What will be the performance results of changing the rear to a 47
    or a 42 or even a 55?

By performance results I mean mpg, shift points, higher speed and
quieter engine operation, and any other aspects of ON-ROAD RIDING.

    Thanx,

    Bill

Bill, unless you happen to be King Tut (before whom all tremble
and obey) you're pretty well bound to piss everyone off by demanding
SPECIFIC ANSWERS TO THESE SPECIFIC QUESTIONS. This is Usenet, where
people reply if they happen to feel like it. We're not on the witness
    stand under oath.

That said, I can't figure out what you're trying to do, except to make
a TW200 into something it was never meant to be. It's a dirt bike that
happens to be road legal so you can make a run into town for beer.

You're asking about performance changes with a 196cc motor. WTF do you
expect out of such a tiny power plant? Here's my uneducated guess FWIW
-- whatever changes you make, the performance will be worse.

Why a TW200 of all bikes? Did that particular model come to you
on a Vision Quest? Since you've...
....then why not get a road bike with some decent ON-ROAD performance
that happens to have some off-road capacity such as a V-Strom.

Having said my piece, I hereby announce my intention to wander off into
the Wilderness (of which, here in Canada, we have an abundance) and if
therein I meet a fellow biker I might even yak about master links.

    See y'all later.

Oh I dunno, at first I thought the members of this group were serious
motocycle techs but later, when I found out most were just dickheaded
windbags, I decided to sink to their level to see if that might work.
Ah, how true NOBODY KNOWS, wergo the members of rec.motorcycles.tech
are mostly just impostors! And, BTW, GFTOG.

And Sean follows right along in the footsteps of his Daddy Toggy Turd
and STILL FAILS to answer the questions but only continues the
wanderings and misdirection of the know-nothing morons that inhabit
this newsgroup. What a sad bunch of losers and impostors they are!

Ah, Who Me is yet another wannabe fake tech who doesn't know the
answer so he just employs the response he learned from his master
while on his knees in front of TOGGY TURD. Sad.......
