The Bindit passed the MOT today keeping my MOT record at a 100% pass rate over the last 29 years, and all I did as preperation was wash it. Many thanks to Pip for riding it over for me while I watched people in the fast group at Mallory falling off lots[1] [1] The first four fast group sessions were all red flagged after big crashes, amd then a couple more were in the afternoon after they'd had a talking to about the amount of time being wasted. -- Lozzo Triumph Daytona 955i SE (Black with added black bits) Suzuki Bandit 600S (Green with added shit bits) Yamaha SR250 Delusion (It's "Special") I ride way too fast to worry about cholestorol.
I'll bet you didn't even have to take it where we took the 9R did you? It seemed odd watching the bloke do an almost thorough test today after years of 5 minutes from riding in to riding out with a pass certificate. We actually had to sit outside in the sun waiting for a while because the computerised system means he has to be logged on for a minimum amount of time.
Andy Bonwick says... Pip took it to another one where we can book it in at short notice. They're the same at the place I now use, a thorough but fair test that takes the alloted time. -- Lozzo Triumph Daytona 955i SE (Black with added black bits) Suzuki Bandit 600S (Green with added shit bits) Yamaha SR250 Delusion (It's "Special") I ride way too fast to worry about cholestorol.
That's ruddy impressive. I generally take dodgy old bikes in hoping they won't notice the dripping mastercylinder, leaking fork seals etc. etc.
says... I don't ride bikes with faults like that for very long, they end up getting fixed well before MOT time - with the exception of the old CB250RS. -- Lozzo Triumph Daytona 955i SE (Black with added black bits) Suzuki Bandit 600S (Green with added shit bits) Yamaha SR250 Delusion (It's "Special") I ride way too fast to worry about cholestorol.
