    Evening all,

I have a 2006 650 bandit which I love to bits, as it is my 1st big
    bike after all.

The problem though is that I have no experience to compare it to.

Whilst on a little 1/2 hour commute, I found that when I got home, my
    left hand was goosed.

is this because I am a 12 stone weekling and need to build up my fore-
    arm a bit.

Or is there something more sinister?

Any advice would be appreciated, as if I took it back to the dealer to
complain, he could just say ........ "Well they are meant to be like
    that !"

and I would not know if he is having me on or not

    Thanks for your help

  2. Try a new clutch cable.

Also have a look at the worm drive mech on the left side of the engine.
my old one was falling apart and replacing it at a cost of 28 quid
transformed it to a nice light clutch.

  4. What the others say and if that don't work you might consider trading it
in for something based on the featherbed frame.

Depends on what GSF650, there are two. The earlier oil-cooled one is
cable operated, the water-cooled ones may well have hydraulic clutches.
