sticks in first

    Hi,

    My CMX250C refuses to leave first gear when hot & stationary. Can't get into
    neutral (or anything else) until I move off or switch off. Sometimes will
    work ok when cold. Clutch cable has been adjusted every which way, no
    change. Bike has only done < 1500 miles. I've heard that this may be caused
    by incorrect oil viscosity - is that possible, and why? Or maybe the clutch
    plate springs are unequal lengths? Any ideas would be great... this is
    driving me nuts! Thanks.

    I forgot to mention - rocking the bike makes no difference...
