Went to the Black Horse festival last night. Lovely beer, top PA and
these lot were on http://www.taxim.com/items/buick6.htm . All in all,
pretty good particularly when many sheets to the wind. So: do I go and
see The Blockheads who are playing tonight? Decisions, decisions.

I found my In Step CD lurking in a corner at my mum's house. It's a good
job my housemates have finished their exams.

Have you heard the SRV In Session with Albert King album? It's fab.

Steps? Weren't they like S-Club7 but earlier?
I haven't heard SRV in session with anyone. Who are SRV? Sorry, but I
need to know, there's a weird guitar thing going on atm and it making my
    brain go funny.

wessie scribbled on the back of a napkin:
Haven't heard that either, but I like Albert King, a lot.

BTW, there's a live SRV DVD out that's really worth watching. Bit
frustrating when you're trying to play the guitar yourself, but very
    educational at the same time.

Nope, I've got a different DVD called "Live from Austin, Texas". Has a
couple more songs on it as well.

Linda's chum Tom in Vancouver is a SRV fan - took us to see "Texas
Flood", who he said were a bit like that - I think. ICBW.

I thought they were jolly good, but that could have been the beer.

Imagine, for a moment, that you are Stevie Ray Vaughn.

Now imagine that you want to write down your initials.

    Any clearer?

One of my old school chums was the guitarist in a band called Texas
Flood but I doubt very much if it's the same bunch.
    Beer certainly helps :)
