    There's actually not very much tech info on this page after all that.

    There was an article in the July 2008 edition of Pop Sci magazine.

    Evidently he put 48 3.3V 50AH lithium-iron-phosphate batteries in this
    monster. It weighs in at around 200kgs and a top speed of some 150mph.

    He used a Curtis 1231 controller (used in Porsche 914 electric
    conversions) but he had to turn down the rate at wich it throttles up
    because the intense acceleration at the maximum rate of 550 amps is "a
    little scary".

    speaking of quite, I heard the other day that one of the Hybrid/
    electric car manufactures are going to put a fake engine noise on
    their cars because there has been many pedestrian accidents where the
    people could here the coming, especially in carparks..

    Loud pipes save lifes?

    look like an interesting concept though.
