Stay Upright Advanced Course (SYD)

Discussion in 'Australian Motorcycles' started by Alan Pennykid, Jan 29, 2004.

  1. My club(BMW Touring Club of NSW) has organised a weekend advanced course at
Oran Park (Full circuit) to be held on 5/3/04(Theory night) and
6/3/04(practical at Oran Park). By organising a whole group ourselves, we
    get a better price.

Why am I telling you this? Well, to get it running we need a minimum of 20
participants and so far we've only got 15 saying yes. If anyone of you
friends of the BMW Touring Club would like to take part, I'm inviting you to
do so. You will get the same price as everyone else in the group,
regardless of whether you are a member or not, we need your body to get it
up and running. But you'll need to tell us quick as we have to tell SU by
    this weekend.

If you are interested at all please contact Marie on 0428 393 093 or email
on pronto, we do need to know soon. There is a max
of 30 particapants so yes there is a limit, but there are few spots
available. Do not post a replay on aus.moto, as I am not doing the
bookings. If you are interested please conatct Marie ASAP or it will be too
    late.

    Course Details:

The Theory night will be held at Stay Upright, Trade Centre, cnr Martha and
Wentworth Sts, Clyde (entrance on Martha St) Friday 5th March, 2004 from 7pm
    to 10pm.

The track work will be on Saturday the 6th of March.

    All are welcome included friends.

    Pat said he'd be there.

    A bit far for me.

  5. Pat's already paid weeks ago...
The reduced cost is due to the countersteering exercise being dropped from
the course (since the shaft drive bikes won't be able to take part...)
