It's starting to look like Sarah might not be fit enough for the France run
next weekend. Laura can't come because she has an exam on the Friday.

We'll probably decide sometime Wed/Thur whether it's a goer or not. At this
point, there may be a great opportunity for someone who wants to do the run,
and is prepared to risk a) going pillion with me, and b) the possibility of
    sharing a room with me.

    OMFG. The Bear Bitch Project.
I can just see us wobbling down the M4 with the back end bottomed out and
    you shouting instructions...

....if only for the opportunity to do a full-on HST-style write-up
afterwards. I should point out that this fine VFR that I've been lent by
Statto is an appropriately red colour. I suggest you reread /Fear and
Loathing/ and see about sourcing a collection of serious narcotics for the
topbox, while I work on the huge bats.

Heh. Six weeks of lying around with her feet up is making a noticeable
    contribution in the avoirdupois department...

Yes, yes, yes. I got it. Hence the "Damp".

Do try to keep up with my rapier wit and devastating subtlety, or I
shall stop trying. And *then* you'd be sorry.

    Ah. Right.

See, I thought you'd done the "yes, yes, me me me" for the empty pillion
    seat for next weekend.

The combo needs certain mechanical corrections, but after that, absolutely.

I wanted to but then I got the wrong weekend when I made child care
arrangements. They're sorted now, but too late for this trip. We were
going to go to Amsterdam instead. But a friend is giving a lecture on
Fri night that we want to see so it's that and lazing around in the
warm and dry while you all do strange things with waterproofs.
Laura does it, it can't be that bad.
Not as long as I have breath in my body. [1]
