    - probably happened over that decade - I seem to recollect one of the
South London dealers advertising such in Motor Cycle - CZ-Jawa, perhaps,
passed off as a Panther. Pride & Clarke?

    May have been a CZ.

    Damn it, I even had a nineteen-fifties Powered Two Wheeler, a 1959,
probably rather than 57, BSA Dandy in 1966 or so.. Much has been written
about just how bad these were. It did the job for a first bike in that I
didn't hurt myself very much at all the first time I came to a bend that
    tightened.

After I stuck a different pair of front forks in, it didn't feel quite
right, and cut out frequently. Parts of it are still presumably in the
soakaway in what was my parents' house at Woking.

Pressed steel, cable brakes, pre-selector two-speed gearbox, hand-
rather than kick-start, I'd have needed to split the crankcases to
adjust points/timing, apparently. Flat out at indicated 25mph or so.

The Dandy had a BSA badge and was credited to them. Makes one wonder,
    though.

The Older Gentleman was seen penning the following ode to ... whatever:
    <Lozzo mode>

I've seen at least one 250 that was badged as a Guzzi.

I'm thinking the same about the 500 Quattro that I tried, even though
I know that it blew up its gearbox shortly after the bloke sold it to
    someone else.

But then again I'm beyond help anyway.

.... which means that they'll take the pistons, which is kinda my
point. But you're right, they don't take that many other Honda parts.
