No, it's not dawning on me, nothing's changing except the degree to which I want to respond rudely/aggressively/reasonably depending on my mood and the context. Some things you post are truthful. Some are slightly exagerated and others simply aren't. You're not so remarkable as to be 'outside of my reality' You probably had the Guzzi and the TR1. You didn't ever strip down the Honda 750-4 in 1973 in the presence of TT luminaries. You *might* have been there when an older brother, father or family friend did it, you might have passed spanners. You may have cleaned up in a workshop where this was done as a saturday job. You may have stripped said bike around 1978-1980 and have discussed it with some old giffer you know who said "Matchless did that" or somesuch. You never did The Lizard to London in 3 hours or whatever it was you claimed. You probably did it in 5 on several occassions. You never did the inter-stellar mileage you claimed as a courier but you probably worked as a courier. etc. etc. etc.
you reckon you know that much about me (interrupted) someone was just reading this over my shoulder and asked who you were, I said no idea, they said you had no idea about me either, basically sums it up perfectly inter-stellar mileage, you putz, trucks do 2500 a week on night trunking or long haul, in the states and oz it can be double that, and you think doing it on a thousand cc shaft drive motorcycle sitting in lane 2 and 3 at 85 mph for only 30 hours per week is interstellar.... you know bugger all.
