SRX tyre choice

It won't be too long before I'll need to change both tyres on the SRX.
Question is, what to replace them with?
It's wearing Metzelers at the moment in the stock sizes (100/80H18 &
120/80H18), but the rear's squared off and the front's gone hard, so I've no
    idea how good they are.
Trawling the net, I've not found many suitable candidates listed on the tyre
    manufacturers websites:

    Bridgestone BT45's for both ends
Maxxis Hi-Max C907 for the rear
    Metzeler ME99A for the rear
Michelin Macadam 50 & 50E for both ends

    Not exactly a massive choice!
Didn't Avon used to do the tyre of choice for the SRX? Nothing listed on
    their site now though.
Any recommendations on these or others?
    Cheers.

    MrT says...
I'd go with the BT45s. I had them fitted to my old RD350LC and they were
excellent in wet or dry conditions, lots of others think so too. I loved
    them, so did the bike.

I have a Maxxis Hi-Max C907 on the rear of my CB250RS, it is fine in the
dry, but it slides about a lot in the rain, unlike the Maxxis Barracuda
that was on before it. I'll be fitting another Barracuda on when it's
    trashed. Unfortunately they don't make a 120/80 18 Barracuda, so I'd
    scrub Maxxis off the list.

I wouldn't touch Macadams with a bargepole, they are lethal in damp or
    wet conditions.

Metzeler ME99s are a bit dated now, there are far better tyres out there
for the same money. I'm surprised they still make them.

I had a BT45 put on my SRX4 to match the front one and they seemed pretty
good although I think mine had a slightly wider rear than the 120 you
    mentioned.
I didn't have much to compare them to of course and just about anything
would have been an improvement over the square bald thing that was on the
back when I got it , but they kept me the right way up in all weathers
including snow and ice and got fairly close to the edge in the dry.
