SR500 National Rally

Discussion in 'Australian Motorcycles' started by Dave Milligan, Sep 24, 2004.

  1. The SR500 Club 5th National Rally is returning to Bethanga in N.E.
Victoria, about 25 km east of Albury/ Wodonga on the weekend of 19-21
    November.

There is ample camping space at the Bethanga Recreation Reserve and
once again we will be fed by the the hard working local Rural Fire
Brigade. $15.00 prepaid or $20 when you roll up.

People planning to arrive on the Friday and partake of an excellent
counter meal at the Courthouse Hotel should contact this site
(www.sr500club.org/) beforehand so the SR500 club can ensure
    sufficient food is on hand.

    Kind regards
    Dave Milligan

I can't imagine I'll find any real difficulty waddling up to
    A/W for that one ... After all, I ride two air-cooled 500s ...

"So far Howard's luck has survived a great deal: his move to dismiss
broken election pledges by distinguishing between "core" and "non-core"
promises; his retrospectively time-limited "never ever" pledge on the
goods and services tax; his vagueness about when he committed Australia
to war against Iraq; his shifting standards for ministerial conduct; his
demonising of asylum seekers as child killers; his tendency to blame
"advice" rather than to openly accept responsibility when things go wrong."
Will Howard's luck survive another election ? Do Australians not care
that their PM is a liar ?
