Hello motorcycle people. My front brake has been squeaking for the
last 750 km. I used aftermarket break pads and they had to be ground
down in order to fit properly. Will the squeaking ever stop? Should I
    replace with other pads?

The reason why they squeak is because you have fitted break pads. They are
specifically designed to break things. What is suggested is that you remove
them and fit proper brake pads, that's assuming you want to slow down from a
set speed (brake). Unless of course you do actually want to break your bike.

Oh, and what's with the grinding down business? Surely if you had any common
you'd have concluded that if they don't fit then they are obviously not the
    correct ones.

Another suggestion, if you are not going to use correct spares please start
using public transport. One day you could be a national statistic - Don't
say I didn't tell you so.

  3. Fit genuine pads.

Or oil the existing ones ;-)

Stay tuned for the american lawyer suing a brit named TOG for advising his
client to oil the brake pads. ;-)

(Note; this may actually improve braking on a HD)
