Sputting then dies?

    Yea i had laid my bike down and now i have fixed everything and
    changed oil and plugs and when i start it up it seems like it wants
    gulping for gas ( tank is full) when i reveve it up like 2000-4000
    rpms it sputters then when i took it for a ride it was fine for a
    little bit till i was like if 4th gear and started to blurp and want
    to cut out then finally cut out. it will start but cuts out when
    ridein. any advise would be helpfull thanks!

    Fuel filter? (hard to say without knowing what kind of bike, but this
    sounds like a dirt problem)

    The bike is a 1997 Suzuki GSX-R 600

  4. It sounds like dirty clogged up idle jets. A very common problem when a
    motorcycle has been allowed to sit unridden for a few months.

    Go down to Wal*Mart or any good auto parts store and buy a can of
    Berryman's
    B-12 Choke and Carburetor Cleaner and put 3 ounces of it in a full tank
    of gasoline.
    That's the liquid, not the aerosol. It will cost about $3.00.

    Ride slowly in order to make the engine suck this mixture through the
    idle jets. After several miles, the engine should start running better.
