    Hello,

I would like to try the method of spraying water into the carb intake to
carbon deposits in my 2 stroke engine.

Will a windex type spray bottle suffice ?

    Thanks,
    J

go to a honda shop and purchase carburator and combustion chamber cleaner
or to a mercury outboard shop and purchase mercury power tune
or to briggs and stratton shop and purchase their combustion chamber cleaner
then take it home and follow the directions on the can
simple and cheap with no damage to the engine

My friend has gotten me into the habit of putting a little bit of
transmission fluid in the gas with every tank fill on my cars to clean
    the engine and injectors.

Is this something that could also be done on my 4-stroke carbuerated
    ZX9R?

Lol, this will do absolutly nothing. What other habits has your friend
    gotten you into?
