They placed him on probabtion, and fined him, for his misconduct during the Busch Series race in Montreal over the weekend. Gordon deliberatly ran into the back of Marcos Ambrose, which spun him into a wreck, during the closing laps, to keep Ambrose from winning his first Nascar victory.
