Is anyone else going to vote for Toseland in tonight's phone vote?

The fat little Manc would probably have won if he hadn't been slapped
around in the early hours of this morning, Calzaghe would have a
better chance if he wasn't a sheep shagger and the rest are very
    uninspiring:

    Hamilton - 1st loser.
Murray - Has he won anything of note?
    Ohuruogu - Drug cheat.
Radcliffe - Come back when you've won in the Olympics.
    Robinson - See Hamilton.
Rose - Come back when you've won a major.
    Wilkinson - See Hamilton.

I doubt if Toseland gets as many votes as the drug cheat.

  2. I won't be, since I was unaware sportsmen have personalities.

What would be the point? The winner has already been decided and the vote is
just to drag in cash. A month from now there'll be an announcement about
there being "mistakes made, for which we're sorry and it won't hapen again"

It'll all be a done deal but I'm not really worried about that aspect.
It's just an excuse to see how badly our 'mainstream' sportsmen/women
    have done this year.
I'll be voting for Toseland even though I'm convinced it's rigged.

I'd actually like to see someone who races bikes get some recognition
before they're dead. Having seen Toseland doing a Q&A thing and then
play a short set with his band free of charge for the TTMA I'd say
that he does have some personality.

  6. I've voted for Foggy and Hodgson in the past when they were both world
champions, but doubt a bike racer will ever win this prize. It's a sad
fact that not enough people are into bike racing, the most thrilling
sport there is. I remember when Foggy had been world champion for the
4th time, but still no award! How they can give it to a rower (Steve
somebody or other) is beyond me - who watches rowing?

One of the reasons I'm glad to now be a biker in Spain - they love
bikes here, and racing(more MotoGP). It's third in popularity in the
sports newspapers, behind footie and basketball

More than Andy Priaulx will get.

He's orly won the World Touring Cars championship three years in a row
    - no point recognising that - again.
