sprocket being changed? is there an easy way? is there any way?

    Mate, you need a full on-board moving-map waterproof voice-activated
    shock-proof police-aware glow-in-the-dark solar-powered GPS thingy.

    Over to you Burnie.

    Cheers,
    Dave E :)

A cheaper solution is the push-bike trip computer....... but it is only
good if you either know where you are going, or, don't care if you
    occasionally get lost.

A mate did a similar thing with his '04 Blackbird. Cost him quite a few
dollars and some work installing it.

I would've thought that it'd be cheaper and easier to simply install
something like a Sigma Sport cycle computer....

    Scooters???!!!

INTRODUCING the new '06 Vespa Adventure!!! A gutsy "big-bore" 55cc
engine provides plenty of torque to get you out of a tight trail, while
all-new dual-sport 12" tyres means that you can get all that power to
the ground, whether on or off the road. A 30L tank results in a range
of around 1400kms, giving you a true "all day" ride, without needing to
refuel like the other sooks. And, for the 2006 model, an all-new
integrated steel 3-box pannier system results in a machine not only
capable of traversing the toughest outback trails, but of also being
equally at home sitting elegantly in front of your favourite imported
    coffee bar.

    Sorry - couldn't resist!

Cheapest way match up against someone else at 40-50-60-70-80-90-100-110 k's
and see how far you are out, it should be out by the same % at each speed
    then just compensate.

I cannot believe that this thread has been running for twenty-
four hours now, and no-one's pointed out that he needs to re-jet
    his carbies.

    Bloody unhelpful bastards!

And we can't belive that for the length of time that you have been on
this channel, one can't re-jet the carbies until one splits the
    cases...

I'm an amateur gynacologist mate, do it all through the
exhaust pipe. No case splitting for me!

Thanks. VB? Nah, didn't think so!

$120-220 depending on brand and type, shouldn't be much work though,
should be a 10min install (although finding a spot to stash it can be a
head scratcher). Bike computer $50-75 I'm told (never bought one).
Prolly. Depends on whether you want the orginal speedo to work or not,
and whether you're likely to play with the ratios again

I cannot believe that this thread has been running for twenty-
I need to re-jet the carbies? Would the downsizing in the front sprocket
make the bike run richer or leaner?

That depends. Are you using Optimax, or some other fuel?
