Speedo calibration in Melb?

  1. Where can I get my speedo calibrated in Melbourne? Its 20Km/h higher than
    actual at the moment.

    There is a joint on Maroondah hwy Corydon. can't remember the name.
    a friend of mine got his car speedo done there and said that they did a good
    job.

    For that money get yourself a Sigma BC-800. Accurate up to 300km/h and with
    a few other features such a clock, max and average speed. Easy to install
    and calibrate. And you can take it with you when you leave the bike.

    Have one on the ducati for a year now. Just need to backlight it with a high
    intensity LED one of these days.

    Place a small "C" clamp, about 50mm. on the speedo cable, tighten it up to
    13.755 psi, that should restrict the continual spin of the cable enough to
    withhold it by the required amount of 20 kph,
    if not, then you may have to give it an extra tweak of about 0.2275 psi.
    If you have trouble measuring the correct amount, try to use a Supertool
    torque wrench,
    they are more accurate than the Kingcraft models
