I've never ridden one, so I may be hampered in my evaluation. I will
say that I haven't liked the triple engine in anything sporty i've
ridden, but I like the triple in my tiger (as long as it has the free
flow exhaust on it, otherwise it's strangled)

    Cheers,

    Paul.

    Love mine, still miss it.

Personally I love the 3 cylinder engines.

    Comfortable ish
far more loony than I will ever be.
    Goes and stops like stink.
    Looks the bollocks.
Seem well built to me (I've never had problems with either of my
Triumphs that I'd put down to build)

TBH I'd buy another one tomorrow.

That is indeed Triumph Nuclear Red, same as mine. It was a factory
    colour on the Speed Triple.

Aye, especially in sunlight. It's a bit more plum in the shade.

Yeah, and it's fucking black in the dark. What are you, a female
interior designer with a colour wheel?

  12. The 1050's are a bit on the small side. You, like me, are fairly tall,
so you might find it an issue. It was one of the reasons I didn't buy
one when I bought my Z1000.
