I've never ridden one, so I may be hampered in my evaluation. I will say that I haven't liked the triple engine in anything sporty i've ridden, but I like the triple in my tiger (as long as it has the free flow exhaust on it, otherwise it's strangled) Cheers, Paul.

Love mine, still miss it. Personally I love the 3 cylinder engines. Comfortable ish far more loony than I will ever be. Goes and stops like stink. Looks the bollocks. The 1050's are a bit on the small side. You, like me, are fairly tall, so you might find it an issue. It was one of the reasons I didn't buy one when I bought my Z1000.
