Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal
dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to
Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends
so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and
sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

    All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor;
those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we
remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy
and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special
to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops
and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body
begins quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the
green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet he
sinks his teeth into you, enjoying the prospect of having all of eternity to
get even with you for having his bollocks chopped off, for all those times
you forgot to take him for a walk and for having him put down just because
    he was a bit decrepit......

The most canny politician of them all, to have made his name based solely on
    over-publicized, egregious lies.

Others could learn from studying his ploys, especially in the realm of
convincing "the little guys" that he's on their side.

    Pure genius!

Another display of extreme ignorance that prompts
something between laughter and the urge to puke.
    bu$h is a liar, a thief, a coward, a mass murderer,
and a terrorist who has disgraced and degraded the
U.S.. He's also a simple minded moron and a privileged
    failure.

The only thing I don't go with there is terrorist. I think that those
who are trying to broaden the definition of "terrorism" to include ANY
act of violence are being disingenuous (like BOTH the pro-choice and
pro-life movements -- since semantically, they could equivalently call
themselves anti-life and anti-choice). It's the worst variety of
Orwellism that I've seen, and even though I strongly disagree with
Shrub getting us into Gulf War II, it's NOT terrorism unless you
stretch the meaning of terrorism to the point where it just means
"war" (in which case, just call it war, you'll save pixels).

Terrorism is a particular type of asymmetrical warfare, carried out
exclusively against civilian targets, in secrecy. The Iraq war is all
too public, I'm sure the administration feels, and in theory, we're
only going after those who are shooting at us.

It's wrong, but it's not terrorism.
