Just got the air shock pipe bits for the Wing.

    "Shock"'s the right word, too.

    Total: £48.76 (inc VAT)

    Air hose: £31.53; Banjo bolt: £8.19; O-ring (x3) : £2.98 (x3)

Eight quid's bad enough for a banjo bolt, but three quid each for 7mm
    O-rings?

Oddly, when I was quoted under £49 for the lot, I thought it quite
    reasonable.

Bloody hellfire. A bit of Goodridge, a spare banjo bolt from the Big
Box Of Old Bits[1], and some O-rings from Halfrauds or similar. Cost
    maybe a tenner?

[1] I'm assuming that you have one? A box of stuff that's surplus to
requirements past, present and future but which is "too good to throw
    away".

Most of my possessions fall into this category.

  4. Christ on a bike - you could knock up the whole kit for a tenner
    yourself.

Technically, she's not a "possession". I think they changed the law.
