The underdog at the top of the timing sheets. That's what I like to
    see.

    Yes, I know it's only FP1.

What's interesting this week on Roberts is this:

Don't know all the details, but if there's real money buried in this
it changes things significantly for that outfit. And it's American
money intent on promoting in America (at least to some extent), which
    is something new. Big stuff.
Spaniards fast at home, details at eleven. What's really notable here
is the times on the Hondas, I think, although Hayden was well down in
FP2. What's also worth noting is the way the French and Japanese
    contingents are sucking hind-tit...
At least some benefit of the Ilmor dropout...

Got your Euro back up, Champ? To me it's worth noting as much as the
three Spaniards at the front, you either note nationality groupings or
you don't, and Julian started it.

And of course de Puniet is on a *works* Kawasaki, and one assumedly
built for him as much or more than anyone. How good the bike really is
is hard to say, since their lead guy has been Nakano, who was 19th and
slower than the Kawais on his Honda in FP2 today and has generally
been unimpressive on the Honda so far. A bike that fits him better
    than it fits Hayden, btw....

Casey Stoner in 4th too, by far the fastest Duc, maybe we will see another
    great result from him!!
