you can get 45l etc big plastic ones from the warehouse :) although if ya

Already been thru a dozen of them over time, not worth the effort!

Not even out in the sun, throw them to the ground sir, and they
    break.....

They apparently get RPGs cheap too, and then sell them.

The Lavarack Army Barracks in Townsville, largest in the country, has had
unarmed civilian security officers guarding it for a couple of years now.
Not, in my opinion, a very intelligent policy.

As with anything else I guess, there's an ideal situation, then there's
    reality.

.....and if you're talking car-design the third option is "British".

  13. Aren't you having enough fun poking him in that other thread without
demeaning his choice of riding a Triumph as well? <grin>

He said car design, not bike design. (Don't say bike design now, please...)

British designs are fine, it's the implementation that's the problem...

Now, where did I put that bloody BSF/Whitworth socket?...

No way; I had Trumpy too remember (and I was very happy with it!)
The old Datsun Bluebird, 1000, 1200 and 1600 were very similar designs to
British cars (especially Cortinas) but the Jap cars just seemed to actually
    WORK!

The first Bluebird 1200 enginen not only was a direct copy of the Austin A40
motor, it was even painted the same colour green.

  18. That's because Nissan used to produce Austins under licence, so they had the
    tooling.

Ummm the 1000 and the 1200 yes... but the 1600 was a SOHC designed in
house (although it has some design similarities to the Benz SOHC designs
    of that time).

  20. That was the one that spat you off at the Island, wasn't it? ;-)
I always thought it was the BMW 2002 that everyone accused the 1600 of
    being a direct copy of...
