In fact the way airborne plod do it here in Minnesota is to measure
the time it takes to travel a quarter of a mile, there are white
stripes painted on the road surface every quarter mile. The state
patrol officer was only mentioning the bike's speed outdoing the
plane's speed as a 'gee whiz ain't he goin fast' factoid.

Still, plod had an itchy finger, there's no other earthly explanation
as the RC51 won't do over about 162-sih before hitting the rev limiter
in top gear. The bike in question is bone stock but for a set of slip
on cans (and an "I brake for whores" bumper sticker), and has been
dyno'ed twice on two different machines since the ticket was issued,
    with identical results.

Look around the site and you'll find them. Having said that, the
enlargements are Java-powered, so you'll have to use a decent OS to
    see them.

Why, the Javanese, of course. Tsk.

(I dunno if they are Java, actually, but they popped up so I made a
    possibly-rash assumption)

    WGAF?

From what I have read elsewhere, Mr. Tilley claims his license was
expired, but before it expired, he did have a valid motorcycle
endorsement on it. Okay... ,six of one, etc.

Either way he's going to have a tough time buying insurance. Not that
it will stop him from riding, as I doubt he ever had insurance in the
    first place.

It is illegal in Minnesota to operate a motor vehicle without insurance,
and it is illegal to operate a motorcycle without a learner's permit or
an endorsement on your auto driver's license, but a surprising number
of anencephalic knobhandlers manage to break one or both laws seemingly
without a care in the world.

Obviously wasn't his fault, then. Didn't know what he was doing, bike went
out of control, just kept accelerating wildly, lucky to be alive...
