In the absence of Wessie, I've come up with the typical South Wales Run route. Depart from Ystrad Mynach, head over the A4059 and A40 to Llandovery, then head out onto the B roads to Aberaeron for a bite to eat. After lunch head to Tregaron and over the Abergwesyn Pass (very narrow, very desolate and very twisty), then take the back roads through to Brecon, returning to Ystrad Mynach via Talybont on the B roads. It'll be a full day run, Autoroute reckons 6 hours, 180-ish miles. http://www.italiancar.co.uk/Sundayrun for the route if anyone fancies it.
