Short notice but here's a plan:

Meet Abergavenny bus station at 10am for a 10.30 start.

Roughly, the route is as follows:

    Abergavenny - Talybont - Brecon - Garth - Beulah - Newbridge on Wye -
Llandrindod Wells - Talgarth - Ebbw Vale - Abergavenny.

    Anyone up for it?

    Ystrad Mynach?!

I fail to see what we have here that could be of any interest to you!

Anyway. If you want somewhere to crash on Sunday, give me a shout.

Some sculpture at a viaduct. In the rain, probably.

A circular collection of coal wagons on the Hengoed Viaduct.
    Cheers.

Odds are that I'll be coming through late morning time, so I won't be
    able to take advantage.

If you do see a red Wing, give us a wave.

I feel that way about the Tower of London.

    Heh.

But seriously. I can't really understand why that would be in the RBR.
It really is that unimpressive. Took me bloody ages to work out what the
    hell it was, too.

  9. Wembley. I can see the wretched thing from the house, from LHR, from my
route to work, it's ubiquitously *there*. And it just lurks like a great
lump of uselessness. The Tower or a decent viaduct would be just fine.

Oh, the viaduct itself is quite impressive. ISTR it has 16 arches and
    it's definitely quite tall.

The coal wagons are a bit shit, though.

RBR doesn't rely on "impressive". Not by a long chalk.

The Harty Church one is the series of grooves that Linda is pointing
    at, not the church.
    That's cos it's "art", matey.

  17. I'm rather partial to the Stockport viaduct. Biggest brick structure in
    Europe, apparently.
