That's what I just said to you, but in a more articulate and more

Is this for my benefit? Cab is my friend but rest assured I don't
report on your posts to him. Frankly even I have more of a life than
that.

While reading the various questions, replies and exchanges in this
thread I've come to the following conclusion. I think you really need to
take a step back and then reread your posts. While I am sure you believe
you are being clever, are in control and making people jump to certain
of your commands I just think that many of your posts are full of bile,
are aimed to upset certain people and to show off what you consider to
be your intellectual strengths.

Now I'm pretty sure my comments above will get the usual Des dismissal
but you can do much, much better in contributing to this group than the
pile of unmitigated crap that has spewed forth recently. I think it was
Champ's teenager analogy that summed it up for me. Many of your posts
are like those of an angry hormonal teenager and I know you can do much
better than that. If you calmed down a bit, didn't bite so much and
tried to fit in with those people you claim to like on the group you
might not get quite so much shit thrown at you. And whether what you get
thrown at you is unjustified or not if I was you I'd adopt a different
strategy for dealing with it all.

Hoyt McKagen look like a pillar of rectitude. When his own errors are
mentioned, he changes subject, tack and usually thread.

He has a desire to be noticed that even david Blaine can't match. While
he obviously has some intelligence, this is completely neutralised by a
monstrous ego, a complete refusal to see where he is at fault, and a
sneering "know better" tone that would make the most patient of human
beings seek an axe and a shallow grave.

He is mentally ill. Seriously. He needs therapy, a bike, a job, money,
and a blowjob, in any order.

 

It's not so much Usenet, whenever I read I mentally associate the words
in front of me with a voice or a character, sometimes several
characters. Rightly or wrongly I imagined that particular statement in
an Arnold J. Rimmer voice.

It's terrible, when a newbie appears expecting to be taken seriously and
their choice of words could to me sound like Julian Clary as an example;
suddenly, *bang* that's it, they're stuck with a character's voice! [1]

Once I've met some one a few times their posts come out in their
voice...usually.

I know... Wierd!

[1] Which is still the voice I 'hear' when reading any posts by Rexx.
