Ah, well! Tonight is a major fundraiser for the Sweethearts Europe
Tour[1] and I really can't grudge missing Wintersun this year to help
    with getting them over there!

I will be there next year though!

    Cheers

Oops, should've got the spelling from you! I was relying on good ol' Lewis
Carroll and his 'Hunting of the Snark" for my spelling... sorry znark!

    How's life?

Yeah, well, znark being an Aussie and all (you ARE, aren't you, znark, or am
I making yet another ASSumption???) perhaps a boojum would be more
    appropriate...

Should've footnoted so as not to be cryptic - my boojum comment related to
the Aussie connection - the Wesley-Smiths' "choral fantasy".

OTOH, perhaps znark is the OTHER sort of boojum (he didn't SEEM particularly
    dangerous though....)

It's actually my last name backwards. So of the more widely read
(intelligent?) people get it confused with Lewis Carroll. Mates
started calling me that way back in High school. Now some of my
    students do :)
Do well. Good to see everyone made it back safe from here.

Heh, my family arrived here on 28/10/1953. I remember it well. We were boat
    people.

Ah, more Aussie than I am then :) (which wouldn't be hard, seeing as
I only arrived here in 1966...) Bloody foreigners.....

Ach ney. Those would be the 30,000 Yanks who arrived by plane on a tourist
visa, and have now been here more than 7 years.

Yeah I suppose, but shouldn't we put them in detention centres somewhere
    near Woomera or something?

I think those facilities might be earmarked for other folk.... :-(

Hint.. indigenous folk who have thrown their kids overboard or some such.
