yeah, yeah whatever. You do it your way, fannying about for whatever
    miles, I'll do it mine.

There is no need to to tip toe wearing off the 'release agent'. Get them
hot and they'll be offering usable levels of grip within a few miles.

The key question for me, is why don't racers go round slowly for 50 miles
    scrubbing their tyres in?

Ever time a tyre heats up and cools down, its composition changes.
Road tyres contain stuff to minimise this. Race tyres don't.

    Wot he sed.

Folks who "fall off" on new tyres are just ham-fisted arseholes.

They have a hall of fame map on the wall of reception at Witney Tyres
marking all the places that the hfas [1] have binned it as they leave the
    industrial estate with new tyres.

  9. I had a adrenaline rush moment when I forgot as I left work one
evening that I'd had new tyres fitted that morning. However, doing
that leaving a tyre depot suggests a memory on par with a goldfish.

    "Paging Ade!"

Heh, to be fair, as I understand Ade's particular spill, it was more to do
with him not let the temperamental Italian beast he was riding warm up
before trying to head off that did it...
