  4. Yeah, got the solo work done when we bought it. The shop did the work and
it ended costing them way more than they charged me because the new
auto-upholsterer did a great job on the seat instead of a crude chop.
Bonus - still have the footpegs and the mounts for them are still there.
All it needs to go back to double duty is a new seat.

    Cheers

  5. We got good roads too..., so nyeah! :p

Yup, we're doing the green meanie thing again. Hopefully we'll catch up
with you guys at some stage. We're bringing a certain feral gentleman down
with us for his first go at track marshalling.

    Cheers

  7. I wasn't disagreeing, just standing up for the local hotspots. And there
are some fabulous bike roads in Qld besides the ones you mentioned, it's
just they're so blimmin far apart! Victoria is relatively compact... And
Northern NSW is only a daytrip away from here.
There are some brilliant roads all the way down the length of NSW. Just
don't go too far west from the mountains if you want serious twisty
    stuff....
Yeah, flying down on the 29th. We've got a meeting that night at the Alfred
Hospital, so we've got a couple of days before we head down to the Island as
    usual.

We're also flying over to Perth at the end of May for the WA round of Aus
    Superbikes.

    Cheers

  9. If you don't enjoy being nose-to-tail,I can't see why you'd want to stay at
    BT's...

  14. But it's not my fault the drain plug stripped, the air line was pinched so I
may as well adjust the steering head bearings and the belt snapped. It's the
voices on the Creedence Clearwater Revival CD I tell ya!

  15. Badges (I've got a drawer full of 'em) cost more alcohol than you consume
and breakfast is the pizza you didn't finish the night before. Plenty of
camping but I should have enough temporary beds but can lend you a swag at a
    pinch.

I was always a bit superstitious about servicing the Hogly *before* a trip.
Usually did that once I got there...

Bloody Triumph seems to need some servicing every other bloody day...

And there's a really strange hill in the hallway. You have to crawl up it.

    Nah... two words.

    "South Island"

although the road to O'Reillys in the Lamington National Park would be a
    close second.
