Wire wheels or cast? Vetter fairing - ewww. Do you have the bits to put
it back to stock?

Well, I'm kinda interested but it would need to be at least running and
rideable as I've got enough dead bikes already.

 

Look, even I like the Kat.

 

He tried to sell it to me in Sedan. I actually wanted to buy the thing, but
I wanted him to confirm that it still actually existed first...

 

I think that may be a good thing...

That fairing needs shooting though, double quick time. And it could do
with UK-spec handlebars as well.

 

Fucking boxheads, the Vetter is one of the best fairings of all time. I
even like the look of it. Had one on an R65. Shame the plastic is a bit
fragile though, I prefer the Rickman clone for it's GRP repairability.

This Wing looks rather clean and together?! what exactly am I
missing.....before I make the next huge mistake in my lifelong list of
huge mistakes. I prefer this model to the current Platy version, just
needs a can of military spec brush-on black cammo paint.

 

I remember when they first came out. I sort-of accepted them, but never
actually liked them.

It's been living with petrolcan for the last few years, so it probably looks
as though it's been stored in a canal.

 

Years?!!!

 

Big tedious things with months in them. Tend to creep up on you, especially
in the absence of tuits.

I saw a couple of Kats today. 400s they were.

 

It has to be said I find it pretty underwhelming as well.

aye, that's the one. had the advantage of futuristic looks. The other one
just looks like it should have a flip-up light but it's stuck in the up
position, or someone's taken it out and replaced it with a halfords foglamp.
