    Fuggoff I saw it first.
Spares probably a nightmare and where would you get a standard exhaust
    system.

it is nice though......and it has red Marzocchi's
I always wanted one more than a CBX and only 3 (slide) carbs to balance.

Hrmpf. Haven't you got enough projects yet? ;-)
I'd be tempted to keep the six-into-six. It just looks *right* and I
hope it does sound right, too.

Benelli-Motobi club should still have sources for spares. Unfortunately
I think you can't use Honda pistons and other engine in the 900; AFAIK
    you can in the 750.

It looks very clean. Desirable indeed. A must have for the serious
    collection.

Actually according to TOG the 1100 is the more desireable (but less
rare) one. The 1000 with the flat slides was a homologation model so
    they could race it...

Mmm, six cylinders. Still, it isn't the Blingmobile, not unless you add
    items 180027754730, 300026255819, 260031150724, 280028121326, 160030858159,
    300025227607, 220026925778, 220027403385, 180027874204 and possibly
    320027960974...

It's not supposed to be a blingmobile, it's supposed to be a stylish
    Italian bike.

Ah, look who's made it back to the land of the living as well...

Actually I think I'll give a miss but that's more because I'd really
need something a bit more sensible for two-up touring.

    Hmm.

Glodwing GL1000s look attractive in this light.

Looks pretty damned ugly from here. I never got what anyone saw in the
Katana - it may be a good bike under the surface, but what a
    ****-awful surface it is.

Thus spake The Older Gentleman () unto the assembled multitudes:
My neighbour has one of these, in red. It has a 6-into-2 exhaust with very
small 'silencers'. It's certainly not the prettiest of bikes, the engine
rattles like a bag of spanners and it's slow, but wow, it sounds like a
Ferrari on steroids which is guaranteed to (a) make you grin like a lunatic
and (b) turn heads in the street. Well it did when I 'had a go on it mate'
years ago, and he has hardly run it since then anyway. I'm afraid the
sound is about all it has going for it.

    The Older Gentleman says...
IIRC the 1000 had Suzuki in black, and the 1100 had it in red, that was
the only way I could tell them apart at a glance. I'll pop round to see
the 1000 that a bloke I know owns, he's owned it from new and it's all
    original.

Dunno. It's sans MOT, with a Vetter fairing and Samsonite luggage. And
    it's a (IIRC) 1976.

So, in summary, not very much. TOG? Any idea?
It... did. It's not turned a wheel in about 18 months and it's currently
at Petrolcan's place, so I can't vouch for its current state.
