Some scooter purchasing advice?

whatever else would one do to someone wanting to buy a scooter ?

 

This is beside the point. My current commute is slightly more than 6 miles.
I use the VFR, riding like a **** and tearing along the dotted line in the
approved style. Having also a Z200 at my disposal, I could very well pov
along at 75mpg and arrive in only a few minutes more. That's hardly
relevant. It will be a pretty pass when a motorcyclist's commute is less
fun than his working day.

 

Depends on whose hands it's in. I did have a girlfriend who managed to
put a valve through a piston on a C90. She also managed to seize the
crank on a GT550, and those were supposedly bombproof too.

 

Except someone, somewhere really is the 'best' person on usenet.
Perhaps not in this group though.

But I *am* on this group.

I'm not sure what you mean by that, but it is a 4-stroke engine if that
whats what you mean.

That's what he meant. Personally, I don't think you can go wrong with a
C-90. Probably the hardiest bike ever made for commuting.
