Heheheh. I've just got the bloody thing. Gimme a chance. I quite like
    them though.

A nice modern sprotbike style, under the bike with a shortie silencer
would look great and transform the brute.

Then again with 99bhp does any of it matter.

when the previous Z1000 came out, a lot of people didn't like the 2x2
exhausts, though I quite liked them. These new ones are simply
hideous, and look like they came off some sort of custom abortion. And
the fairing (whilst I accept it probably works) really spoils the
clean lines of the previous bike.

But hell, you'd look like a twat on whatever spaz-chariot you chose,
    so it's a moot point.

I think it accentuates the lines, to be fair.
    Heheh.

    106BHP.

Funnily enough, the weight difference between my old GSX14 (226Kg) and
the Z1000 (209Kg) makes a significant (as you can well imagine)
difference in handling. It's tough, but I'm not really comparing
apples with apples here, but the Z1000 seems to be a much better
    bike.

I don't know (as yet) what the ride would be like if it was
derestricted to 125BHP but with what is already available, I'm quite
happy. As Bonwick said ages ago, I can't miss what I've never had.

I've done a bit of hunting around and there is a campaign to get the
law overturned, but it's going to be long and arduous. We are talking
about the French government, after all.

The whole thing looks a bit post-Gundam, although nowhere near as hideous as
    the Burger King.

Which has a ridiculously small petrol tank. I think it's got the same
    range as a 535 Virago.
Heh, you can **** off too :)

I had high-hopes for the B-King, but they majorly fucked it up.
and that's with his helmet *on*.

I don't know what's gone wrong at Kawasaki recently. After a decade and
a half of pure eyecandy it all seems to have gone to shit. The last two
versions of the 10R have been ugly as sin and **** knows what they're up
    to in the exhaust department.

Is there anyone that likes the look of those horrible triangular funnel

It'd look quite good parked in front of a black background.

    At night.

    Post-hammerite.

I hadn't realised it was possible to detune an ER-6.
