I don't really frequent that sort of murky corner of the Internet so I
wouldn't know, but I would not be surprised if you could.

I bought my K800i new for 75 quid from Carphone Warehouse and got 25
quid's worth of extra credit from 02 for doing an upgrade. It's a damn
good phone, except for the known fault of losing the ability to hear
voice through the ear speaker and having to use it on loudspeaker.
Mine's been fixed under warranty, but they are known to keep doing this.

    My only real niggles with it are;

The camera cover slides open in your pocket, and can run the battery
flat as it scans whatever you keep in there.

When an sms has been sent it gives a status report, if that isn't
cleared from the screen it won't auto keylock or allow incoming sms
alerts to be heard. It will allow incoming calls to be heard though.

Aside from that it's been fine and I would recommend one.

It's not just you, my Samsung U600 (spit) suffers the same
coverage problems and general network black holes.

  7. Don't know. They sometimes unlock them if you ask nicely.

  8. I love it when people say that. Ok... £20 :)

I'm watching a few unlocked/Virgin ones on ebay atm though, there's dozens
of the buggers on there! I've been thinking about changing my K700i for
weeks now because the buttons are getting iffy, but it appears I'm just too
lazy to get round to it.

Jeezuz - I sent 11 texts on Saturday and thought that was excessive, and a
    little sad.

not accurate I'm afraid. GPS IS free, Nokia maps navigation stuff isn't
    free.
